At home, using your own TV and VCR, you choose exactly the clips you want and exactly the order you want them to appear in your final video.
For example, you may want the following:
Clip Start Hr/Min/Sec Stop Hr/Min/Sec
Clip 1 00:06:32 00:09:03
Clip 2 01:54:05 02:01:06
Clip 3 00:25:15 00:28:47
etc.
You can intersperse photos and slides, add background music, narration and titles - you're in total control of your video. And you don't have to master a computer editing program to do it!
You can digitize multiple tapes and edit them all onto one tape.
You can produce multiple videos, one for the grandparents, one for the kids, one for your side of the family and one for your spouse's side.
